The story of TriActive America and TriActive Kids can serve as a case study for the power of outdoor exercise. Entrepreneur James Sargen came up with the concept on a vacation in China in fall 2001. Wherever he traveled, he observed people exercising outdoors.
"From grandparents to children, the entire country was involved in all types of outdoor fitness. I’ve always believed in the importance of exercise, and I felt that it would be wonderful for our nation if we could bring that multi-generational concept of fitness to America."
The result: TriActive America was born in 2003, and the beautifully designed and sturdy equipment became the gold standard for parks, cities, communities, organizations, schools, universities, hotels, resorts, homes, and even cruise ships throughout the nation and overseas.
