What motivated me to come up with the concept for TriActiveKids.com? I reflected on my experiences with exercise as a child. I was miserable attempting to succeed in gym classes, trying to keep pace with the stars of the physical education department, the children who ran the fastest, jumped the highest, and always won the gym teacher's praise. I remember receiving criticism from my peers ("Hurry up – you're going to make our team lose!") and negative feedback from teachers ("Can't you run any faster?"). More...
