Coaches, Teachers & Leaders

Outside of the immediate family, coaches, teachers, and leaders play an extremely important role in shaping the lives of children and teens. TriActive Kids seeks to help you achieve your goals of leading children and teens to achieve health through fitness.

Welcome to TriActive Kids! We created this Web site to help support your wonderful efforts in guiding children to become healthier, wiser, and happier through exercise and good nutrition. We at TriActive are concerned about the way in which childhood obesity has become a major national health and wellness crisis. The solution to this national problem can be found in the work that you do, from coaching children in physical education classes to helping your school or organization get the equipment that it needs by creating partnerships with organizations, businesses, clubs and other community groups. We believe that leadership comes from example.

TriActive is proud to have shared this message with an increasing number of schools, communities, and groups across the country. One exciting project is taking place right now in Massachusetts. The students of The University of Massachusetts Medical School, along with the local Rotary Club, have made children's health a focus in their project entitled The Westborough Rotary Club and University of Massachusetts Medical School's Class of 2007 Legacy Project - Fighting Obesity. The increase in childhood obesity is rising each year, and the students of UMass Medical School vowed to do what they could to help combat this growing problem and thus help children.

The goal of these medical students is to place TriActive America fitness equipment in a park within a community, and gear the focus towards children. This is a great pro-active approach to help our country’s youth.

Another great example of how TriActive America’s fitness equipment can have a positive impact on youth and community comes from a YMCA in Northern California. The Yreka Family YMCA designed a fitness trail for young people and the community. This walking/fitness/jogging trail gives individuals of all ages and levels of fitness an opportunity to perform physical activity and enjoy the surroundings of their community while exercising. The YMCA had assistance from the California Conservation Corps to help install the equipment. Together, with TriActive America’s exercise equipment and knowledge, this organization and community succeeded in their goal: to provide opportunities for all ages to exercise together, increase physical fitness and have fun getting healthy!

Numerous teachers and coaches across the United States also have discovered the versatility and usefulness of our equipment and are energizing their physical education and athletic programs with TriActive apparatus. The equipment offered by TriActive Kids helps teachers and coaches with all aspects of exercise, from fitness testing to building strength to enhancing flexibility and coordination to improving the cardiovascular system.

Do you coach a team at the high school or college level? Are you a teacher or administrator? Do you work at a camp, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, JCC, or other organization? Please take the time to contact us and learn more about how the TriActive Kids line of equipment can help you to guide children in achieving a healthy lifestyle. Our services and products are designed to boost physical fitness and activity, increase health awareness, empower a child’s esteem, and make exercise fun!
